Moussaka is one of the ancient Palestinian dishes that became very popular in the Arab world, especially in Egypt. In addition to its delicious taste, it contains many nutrients that are beneficial to health; Such as proteins and vitamins, and it can be provided in several ways, including: moussaka with minced meat, moussaka with eggplant, and moussaka with vegetables, in addition to the ability to eat it in a certain way by dieters.

Ingredients

  • kilogram of eggplant
  • Two islands
  • Two zucchini
  • A century of pepper
  • Half a kilogram of tomatoes
  • Three years of garlic
  • A quarter of a cup of vinegar
  • A teaspoon of cumin
  • A cube of chicken broth
  • Two tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Peel the eggplant, chop it, soak it in water and salt, and fry it. Cut the carrots, zucchini, peppers and tomatoes into rings. Put the tomato rings, pepper, and garlic cloves in a tray. Season with salt, cumin, and black pepper, and mix the ingredients. Add carrots, zucchini, and mix again. We add the tomato sauce, then put the tray into a preheated oven, and leave it until the vegetables are cooked, and then add the eggplant. Leave the moussaka until it boils, then add the vinegar on top.
