The appearance of muscle soreness after exercise is not a direct indicator of fully benefiting from the workout. Muscle soreness, also
known as Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS), is a common and natural occurrence, especially when engaging in new exercises
or increasing the intensity of the workout.
Muscle soreness occurs when exercise causes small damage to muscle fibers, which is part of the muscle-building process. However,
this stress should be gradually absorbed, and when starting a new exercise program or intensifying workouts, DOMS may occur.
However, the absence of pain does not necessarily mean you are not benefiting from the exercise. You can still benefit from exercise
even without experiencing muscle soreness, depending on your exercise goals, whether it's building strength, improving fitness, or
losing weight.
So, muscle soreness can be an indicator of new stress, but it should not be solely relied upon as the only sign of fully benefiting from the exercise.
